We’re proud to announce that our project has been shortlisted for the prestigious Youth4Climate Fellowship under the Adaptation Track.
This recognition highlights our climate-smart solution that transforms agricultural waste into nutritious food products while creating economic opportunities for rural youth and women.
The fellowship program, supported by UNDP and the Italian government, selects innovative projects that demonstrate tangible climate action with strong social impact components.
Our community engagement lead, Wanjiru Mwangi, commented: “This validation confirms that our model of combining climate action with youth empowerment and gender equality is working. We’re training young people and women in our target communities as waste aggregators and micro-producers, creating green jobs while improving nutrition.”
