We’ve launched an exciting new school feeding pilot program in partnership with schools in Turkana and Machakos counties, supplying nutrient-dense plant protein meals to over 1,200 children in malnourished regions.
The program aims to address protein deficiency among school-aged children while demonstrating the viability of our products in institutional feeding programs.
Initial results after the first month show promising improvements in school attendance and concentration levels among participating students.
Our nutrition specialist, Dr. Amina Omondi, explained: “Many children in these areas suffer from protein-energy malnutrition which affects their cognitive development. Our fortified protein products provide essential amino acids in a form that’s easily digestible and culturally acceptable.”
